Well I recently updated my aging iMac to Tiger and although I got most of the stuff working very quickly (WordPress, Postfix, some small scripts that I used), I had a lot of trouble to bring over all the other miscellaneous stuff over (the scripts that I was using to browse CVS, some stat generating scripts, and pop/imap access for instance).

So, after some thinking, I decided to scratch the whole thing and start again! This time better. Isn’t that what software engineers are supposed to do?

Basically a whole lot has changed and since my needs for this site are modest, I decided to switch entirely to using WordPress for the content. I recently started using Flickr for all my picture needs and I don’t need Gallery anymore.

Hopefully, the new site will be easier to maintain. The idea is that I’ll actually post more often if it’s less trouble to do it.

We’ll see if that happens.
