Rosa Parks has passed away. I just found out about the news today and it’s very sad. It’s not to be unexpected at her age (92) but still it’s an amazing person that is gone forever.

Her passing also makes me wonder why the America of former years which was about change and improvement, has cemented itself and gone back on many civil rights issues. Will there be other people like Mrs. Parks in the future? Will we stand up for injustice or is activism slowly fading from Western culture? There seems to be a great shortage of people like her.
